Why We Built Natural Fiber Closet
Natural Fiber Closet was born out of experience, not theory. For over 5 years, we have been running a resale business and have sold more than 5,000 secondhand items. Sourcing, processing, and selling that many secondhand items teaches you what holds up over time, and what customers are searching for on the resale market.
One pattern became impossible to ignore: natural fibers consistently outperform everything else on the secondhand market. Cashmere, wool, linen, cotton, and leather are often searched for on the secondhand market due to their quality and ability to hold up well over time. The retail cost of these premium materials can often feel out of reach for the average consumer, but purchasing these items secondhand helps to bridge the gap and make them accessible again.
